A girl hit a police car
while taking selfies. The girl named Miranda Kay Rader is a 19-year-old girl
from Texas and she is student. It was later found she was
taking topless selfies for her boyfriend while she bashed with patrolling
police car. The accident took place in East Villa Maria Road in Bryan.
Car was badly crashed and Rader was found drunk by the
investigators but she did not got injured in the accident. An open wine bottle
was found in her car. On asking about it she said she had been drinking earlier
at a friend's house.
John Sartell, Bryan Police Officer said, he recovered an open
wine bottle approximately ¼ of containing alcohol. On asking Rader said
she drunk about ¼ of the bottle at her friend’s house. John Sartell said,
heard loud sound of braking car and Rader’s SUV hit police car which was
standing on road side with blinking emergency lights.
Rader was found topless in her car after accident. Police conducted
standardized field sobriety tests at the crash scene and she failed to pass
both tests walk and turn and one leg stand.
She was taken to hospital
for alcohol test in her blood. She was arrested for driving under influence of
alcohol. The girl was released from jail on Thursday morning after paying
$2,000 and as bail amount and might need to appear in court sometime soon.
