This news is from Pune, India where a mother and her
daughter bad beaten up in public for sheltering homeless puppies. The incident happened
in Pune where Sanali and her daughter Sejal found some homeless and sick
puppies. They both decided to help them but they could not imagine what will
happen with them for doing this.
They are residents of a housing society Kothrud, Pune. Sejal
told that puppies were wandering in street looking unhealthy and homeless. She
and her daughter took them to their home and fed them. Their neighbor- Milind
Kale was not happy because he said these puppies create nuisance in the
society.
Kale called Municipal Authorities to take away those puppies
but Sejal and Sonali protest against and they did not allow Municipal
Authorities to take puppies away. Kale became angry on this started beating
both ladies badly. He punched, slapped and hit them with his shoes that
daughter lost one of her teeth.
Ladies called police and luckily incident was recorded which
was used as an evidence. Kale was arrested and charged under sections 325 for
causing hurt, 506 criminal intimidation and 354 outraging modesty of a woman.
