5 Major Misperceptions About Solar System

There are a lot of theories about the universe and solar system. These theories are huge in numbers that no one can tell exactly about their count. But many of them are baseless which created many mis-perceptions about the universe and our solar system. On the other hand, there are many stories including folk tales about which also played a vital for distracting people and people set their minds about the realities.

1.  Mercury

Mercury is the planet of our solar system which is the most closest to the sun and considered the hottest planet. Mercury’s temperature can reach in up to 420 C where Venus’s temperature does not come lower from 462 C. So, Venus is the hottest planet of our solar system.
2.  Moon’s Darker Side

We can see moon as brightening from one side but we cannot its other side which is dark because Earth and Moon revolve simultaneously. So it is impossible to see moon’s darker side without leaving Earth’s orbit.
3. Earth Shape

It is common that we know is the Earth is round shape like a ball. But actually it is not like as we thought. It is actually age shaped.
4. Color of Sun

We think that sun color is yellow or reddish organ as it is burning with fire all the time. But you will amaze to know that sun’s actually color is white. It is due to its high temperature that we can see it as yellow or orange. 

5. Earth and Venus – Identical Planets

Venus is said our Earth’s twin planet because of it some features like similar shape and size. This theory creates an impression that it is like Earth which is not because Earth atmosphere is appropriate for life but Venus’s not.
