Apple Is Spending Billions On A Campus

Apple as a company is growing with every passing day due increasing demand of its world famous product I-Phone. With company’s growth number staff is also increasing which is causing lack of space in the office building. So Steve Jobs decided to build a new and huge headquarters building where wide space will be available for staff to work. Here a lot of creative and amazing things about the new headquarters building and these should be because it’s a building owned by a company and the CEO who is internationally famous. Here is some glimpse of the new building.

Opening of the New Building 

The new headquarters building is about to be completed. It is located in Cupertino California, started to be constructed in the 2011 with the targeted completion duration of four years. But due to a lot of changes it is delayed from the estimated time. It’s design like a UFO as it is shaped like a football field.

He says he wanted to be a part of the construction team instead of a client. He says it the biggest moment of his life.
Design’s Inspiration

Steve Jobs is highly inspired by the design of London Square and he also wanted that the new building should be reflected Californian Landscapes from his childhood.
Capacity To Handle Number of Employees

The spaceship styled building is so huge that it will give room to 12,000 employees. The main building of the headquarters has 2.8 million square feet floor space and has a circumference of one mile.
Major Features

Big space as Steve Jobs wanted a wide space and he also wanted look from his childhood so the building bring California back to Cupertino. It will be clean, environment friendly and self-sufficient.
